Annual Market Day
Girls For A Change is a non-profit 501c3 with a mission to "Prepare Black girls for the world and the world for Black girls" We do this in a variety of ways by providing resources and access to girls in our community in spaces where they may have difficulty getting access.
Volunteer Position Description and Purpose:
Volunteers will support us on these days to help organize and set up our annual Market Day.
Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:
Volunteers will support with setting up tables for the girls, help girls put their items on the tables, and support by welcoming guest.
Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:
None.
Time Commitment:
We ask that all attendees stay for the duration of the process which is 3-4 hours maximum
Other Information (if applicable):
- We ask that you dress in comfortable clothes that you do not mind getting dirty
- Wear a black shirt and black pants
- Bring a water bottle
- Park in the walgreens parking lot
