Brief Organizational Description:
Planet Rock is a community-driven initiative dedicated to sustainable urban agriculture and community engagement through gardening.
Volunteer Position Description and Purpose:
Volunteers will assist in building and installing raised garden beds, spreading mulch, and preparing the space for planting. This work is essential to creating a productive and accessible garden for the community.
Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:
Tasks include assembling garden beds, moving and spreading mulch, and general site preparation. No prior experience is necessary—guidance will be provided.
Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:
No special skills required. Volunteers should be comfortable with light to moderate physical work.
Time Commitment:
No minimum or max
Other Information (if applicable):
• Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
• Bring gloves and a water bottle if possible.
• Parking is available at Broad Rock sports complex.
• Volunteer hours will be tracked via volunteer log.
