Project: The Virginia Telemental Health Network (VTMHI) is seeking a bilingual native Spanish speaker with copywriting or translation experience to help review its website and content to ensure our services and mission are correctly interpreted in Spanish. Currently, our website uses a Google plug-in to automatically translate from English to Spanish. This is an imperfect translation and requires manual review and correction. Experience with healthcare terminology is a plus. The project will prioritize reviewing key pages describing how to engage our services and helping develop a style guide for future content translation. About: VTMHI The Virginia Telemental Health Initiative is a 501c3 nonprofit and first-of-its-kind statewide virtual free mental health clinic. We provide telemental health services to un- and under-insured patients by collaborating with Virginia’s free and charitable clinics and pre-licensed mental health providers in the process of completing licensure. Our mission is twofold: to expand access to mental health services for ALL Virginians in need, and to fortify the mental health workforce by dismantling barriers to licensure. We strive to create a future where mental health is accessible, inclusive, and supported by a diverse workforce. This SkillsConnect project has a deadline of June 30, 2025, can be completed in roughly 7 - 10 hours and requires at least three years of experience in Copyediting.
