As part of a nationwide network of Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs), The Span Center provides support, connection and advocacy to residents of Planning Service Area 15 (PSA15) which includes Charles City, Chesterfield, Goochland, Hanover, Henrico, New Kent, Powhatan, and the City of Richmond. Our mission is to support older adults, individuals with disabilities, and caregivers across Central Virginia by connecting them to services, community, and resources that promote independence and well-being. We take great pride in being one of the 25 AAAs in Virginia and more than 650 across the country, all committed to serving older adults, caregivers and people with disabilities with compassion and intention.
