Blackberry Winter furnishes homes for people starting over with nothing. We do this by taking donations of gently used household items, furniture, and appliances to provide a “hand up” for individuals starting over in life, no matter the reason: fire, addiction, illness, domestic violence, imprisonment, etc. No guilt required. Blackberry Winter knows everyone needs help in life. We believe If people are made to feel guilty for needing help that help becomes tainted. It is no longer help; it is harm.
Blackberry Winter uses financial donations to give new beds, linens, and pillows to children in our community who are going without. Blackberry Winter believes children struggle to learn, grow, or feel loved sleeping on the floor
