Take part in Global Volunteer Month!
April is Global Volunteer Month, a time to celebrate and inspire volunteerism worldwide, recognizing how volunteers strengthen communities by supporting local nonprofits in advancing their missions. The Community Foundation is leading a Volunteer Passport initative, providing the community with an opportunity to explore nonprofits across the region, make a meaningful impact based on personal interests, and enjoy volunteering alongside friends and family.

Step 1: Log in or register for an account with the Community Foundation’s engagement center. Volunteer to earn stickers on your passport for each nonprofit you work with from April 1st - May 31st. Find opportunities below to get started!
Step 2: Each organization your volunteer with earns you a sticker on your passport. Collect 3 stickers to redeem a prize from SCOOP ice cream and a raffle entry for 2 admission tickets to King's Dominion. Earn 5 stickers or more on your passport and receive an extra raffle entry!
Step 3: When you've completed the projects, take our volunteer survey by June 20th to qualify for the rewards! You can find the volunteer survey here.
