Tree Equity Scorecard Analyzer Training for Arbor Day RVA

Volunteer Position Description and Purpose:
American Forests developed the Tree Equity Score Analyzer for cities and states ready to bring Tree Equity to fruition, one city lot at a time. Tree Equity Score Analyzer provides human centered, deep-dive decision making for urban tree plantings and Southside ReLeaf is happy to bring area tree workers together for this training. Join us October 26th 5:30pm-7:30pm at the Boys and Girls Club at 2409 Bainbridge.
Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:
Attendees will view the TESA features on a large screen and then have the ability to manipulate the tool on their own computers. Working in pairs/groups will allow accommodation for those without computers.
Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:
We are inviting those that work with tree maintenance, planting, and identification of sites in any capacity.
Time Commitment:
5:30p-7:30p
