Black History Month: Portals Project Window Cleaning

Brief Organizational Description: 
The City of Richmond, Venture Richmond and Black History Museumar are partnering to bring a special art installation to Shockoe Bottom the month of Feb. There will be historical photos and local art work in 20+ locations. 

Volunteer Position Description and Purpose:
The project will give everyone a free opportunity to do a self guided tour and see history staring back at them. 

Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:
We need help cleaning the windows before the installation. 

Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:
No special training. Materials will be provided. 

Time Commitment:
Depending on the number of volunteers, it should only take a couple of hours.

Other Information (if applicable):

  • We will provide all cleaning materials and gloves
  • Meet at the 17th Street Market
  • Parking permits for volunteers
