Woodland Restoration Foundation
https://www.woodlandrestorationfoundation.org/Woodland Restoration Foundation (WRF) was formed to maintain, preserve, and educate the public about Woodland Cemetery-located in Henrico County, Virginia-the resting place of approximately 30,000 African Americans. Our community-led, volunteer driven organization facilitates the resuscitation efforts, returning dignity to this historic location, dating back to 1917. The WRF will grow the cemetery while respecting the original design, including development of an education and genealogy that directly supports this mission.
