https://www.rva.gov/public-works/clean-city-commissionThe Richmond Clean City Commission (CCC) is Council's all volunteer advisory body that provides recommendations to the City concerning programs and policies to reduce litter, encourage proper disposal and recycling, and improve the local environment. CCC works closely with DPW on several programs, including recycling and disposal events, neighborhood cleanups, and community education and awareness. The CCC also serves as the Keep VA Beautiful affiliate for the city of Richmond. The CCC does this work to protect citizens, wildlife, and the environment from harmful litter and illegal dumping. Ensuring that the community participates in prevention and cleanup efforts and that those efforts are centered in equity to aid the most vulnerable populations is our highest priority. A litter-free city will empower all residents with a sense of pride that will result in a healthy and resilient Richmond.
