Inaugural Day of Service: Build Picnic Tables at Powhatan Community Center
Brief Organizational Description:
The Department of Parks, Recreation & Community Facilities invites tyou o join us in a carpentry project.
Volunteer Position Description and Purpose:
Help Parks provide picnic seating for the community.
Volunteer Duties & Responsibilities:
Volunteers will assemble picnic tables in teams inside the community center for use at Powhatan Pool and Powhatan Hill Park.
Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:
No special skills required. Parks staff will provide training and superivision.
Time Commitment:
This project runs from 11am to 2pm.

- Parking is available on the street
